Refunds


Refunds (if applicable)

Our refund policy lasts for 30 days after your item was delivered to your destination. If 30 days have gone by since your order was delivered, we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Your product must be faulty and show signs of manufacturer mistakes to be eligible for a refund. 

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items on sale at the time of purchase are not eligible for a refund.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@lightstrips.co

Returns (if applicable)

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

We cannot accept returns via rejected or refused packages, abandoned packages, and packages returned outside of the designated return process (Please see above for designated return process).

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Non-returnable items include: perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines,  intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, gift cards, downloadable software products, or some health and personal care items.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

For refunds, we’ll begin issuing your refund once we’ve received notification that you have returned your item(s). Most banks will process the refund within 3-10 business days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@lightstrips.co

Cancellations

Cancellations are only accepted for full-priced items, within 1 hour after an order is placed. If you have to cancel your order for any reason within the given time frame, reach out to us immediately at contact@lightstrips.co. We process orders as quickly as possible so cancellations are time sensitive.

Edits or Changes

Your order can not be changed or edited after placing your order. We provide a summary page before initial checkout that allows you to confirm the items you’ve selected for your order. If you would like to add more to an order you will have to make another purchase.

Address Changes

We are able to change or update your address up to three hours after you place your order. After this period of time, we are unable to change your address on file as we are working quickly to speed up the processing and shipping time of your order. Please reach out to us immediately at contact@lightstrips.co if you need to update your address within the time frame.
